Parish acquires capital outlay funding
While health care, retirement plans and education reform highlighted this year's Legislative session, Franklin Parish quietly became the beneficiary of a hefty sum of capital improvement funds.
Rep. Steve Pylant and Sen. Neil Riser both labeled this year's session specifically beneficial to projects in the area, as Franklin Parish has acquired over $3.5 million in capital outlay projects and improvements as a result of the recently adjourned regular legislative meetings.
