College merger receives go aheadf from SACS
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools gave its stamp of approval last week, solidifying the merger of Louisiana Delta Community College and the Northeast Louisiana Technical College.
Gov. Bobby Jindal approved the bill combining of the two educational institutions in early June. The SACS accreditation was the only hurdle left in making the merger a reality.
