Sarah Anders Rainwater of The NFP Benefits Solution Group of Baton Rouge was the featured speaker at this month's Winnsboro-Franklin Chamber of Commerce meeting and gave an insider's view of how recent health care reform has and will affect both employers and employees alike.

"Health care reform is multi-faceted and it has the ability to affect every person, whether your part of a group plan or have an individual group plan," Rainwater said.

Rainwater has been licensed in life, health and accident insurance since 2004. As an employee benefits specialist, Rainwater is responsible for maintaining client relationships on a daily basis.

"It's made us take on a different role with our clients," Rainwater said of the changes in health care. "Now we are proactively talking with them about health care reform and how it could affect their group health plan and their employees and what step they need to take to prepare themselves for that."
