Noon Nibbles: SMART Portions Essentials The LSU AgCenter in collaboration with the Franklin Parish Library is offering a series of lessons at the monthly "Noon Nibbles" program from January through June called "SMART Portions: A Healthy Weight Management Program." The goal of SMART Portions is to help you learn how to balance the food you eat with physical activity that may help you achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
The Smart Portions plan provides current, researched-based information and recommendations to help you achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Lessons include: Portions Works, Portions in Control, Your Activity Portions, Portions Made Tasty, Portions Away from Home, Portions Essentials, Healthy Portions of Self-Esteem, and Portions for Life.
