'Lovers' quarrel' ends with gunshots

A Rayville woman was arrested last week after firing a weapon into a residence on two occasionss, according to Franklin Parish Sheriff's Office officials.

Shawana L. Hardmon, 34, Rayville, was arrested and charged with attempted second degree murder, assault by drive-by shooting, flight from an officer and aggravated criminal damage to property after a lovers' quarrel turned into an early morning shooting frenzy.

"This crime was a result of a relationship between two individuals that went sour," Franklin Parish Sheriff Kevin Cobb said. "A case of someone having issues with their significant other and it pushing them to point of committing an act of violence.
