The Sun shines at LPA convention
The Franklin Sun swept an entire category at the Louisiana Press Association awards earlier this month. It was the 132nd annual LPA convention held at the Paragon Casino and Resort in Marksville. Former Gov. Edwin Edwards served as the featured guest speaker at the afternoon luncheon.
Nominations from the previous year are sent to the committee in January for consideration.
