Kermit Burnside, Plant Pathology Ph.D from LSU, spoke to Garden Gate Study Club at its regular monthly meeting, Friday May 11, which was held at the lovely home of member Jan and Roger Smith. The Smith's residence affectionately named 'The Mane Place,' is located down a country lane lined with blue hydrangeas and wild flowers. Gorgeous flower gardens surround the residence.
