Local church to celebrate 150 years
In 1860, Franklin and Richland parishes, and the surrounding area were about to enter the Civil War.
It was a restless time and one that touched most every family.
In the Mangham and Baskin area lived several families, among them the Baskins, Dunns, Coopers, Archibalds, Elliotts, Fifes, Neills, Hendersons, Prewitts, Sprewels, Brooks, and Stouts.
