Summer reading program kicks off at library

The Franklin Parish Library will be kicking off the annual Summer Reading Program, Dream Big; Read on June 13. This program is coordinated by the State Library of Louisiana and the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism. When school is out, children are encouraged to come to the library at 705 Prairie St. and begin their summer adventure.

When signing up children will receive a reading log they can use to keep a list of the books they have read. We will be presenting exciting programs throughout the duration of the program.
