CPBC takes mission trip to Houston
The Crockett Point Baptist Church made their second annual Easter mission trip to minister to some of the 20,000 homeless in Houston, Texas, with Gary and Penny Russell of LOL on April 6-7.
This is a family trip whereby children learn by doing ministry. Crockett Point Church furnishes transportation for the trip with their 40-passenger bus. There are varied reasons why some individuals can't ride the bus and furnish their own transportation. Those riding the bus arrived at the church about 6:30 Friday morning with several hundred pounds of clothing, caps, hygiene items and homemade cookies.
