posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
A benefit co-ed softball tournament for Riley West will be held on Saturday, May 19, at the boy's baseball field in Mangham.

Four-year-old Riley, who suffers from a brain abnormality known as chiari malformation, underwent surgery to repair the condition on April 30 and is doing well.

All proceeds from the tournament will go toward assisting with medical expenses. Riley is the son of Nicole and Hunter Johns, and Will West.

There will be an entry fee of $150 a team. Hamburger plates will be available for $6 and a silent auction will also be conducted. T-shirts will also be on sale for $20 for adults and $15 for kids.

For information, donations or registration, call Samantha Hutchinson at 729-0321, Ray Robinson at 376-0743 or Mike Beaube at 498-0796.
An account for Riley has been set up at Franklin State Bank for others who wish to donate.
