Miss/Mr. Black Heritage crowned at annual banquet
Yo'Sha Kae Lain and Damian J. Hooker were honored as Miss and Mr. Black Heritage during the 24th Annual Black Heritage Banquet held on Feb. 24, in the Franklin Parish High School cafeteria.
The honorees were introduced by Linda Miles Short and presented trophies by Mabel Lawrence Thomas. Upon their enrollment in the college of their choice, each will receive an assistance scholarship.
