Dragons cruise into second round
Mangham run-ruled Ascension Episcopal in six innings last Friday, giving the Dragons a 10-0 win in the first round of the 1A playoffs.
Senior Tyler Weed worked five shutout innings on the mound to give Mangham the victory.
The No. 5 Dragons will host No. 12 False River at 5 p.m. Tuesday evening for a chance to advance to the quarterfinals to play the winner of the St. Mary/Delhi Charter contest.
