Patriots take one from Neville, prevent sweep
The Franklin Parish Patriots split a double-header with Neville on Saturday, keeping their playoff hopes alive heading into the last week of the regular season.
The Patriots beat Neville (14-14, 8-4 in 2-4A), 10-6, in game one, relying on the steady arm of senior Mason Liles. The Tigers ran away with a 17-2 win over Franklin Parish in the second game.
