Lady Patriots travel to New Orleans area for first round
The Franklin Parish Lady Patriots will be traveling south Tuesday for the first round of the LHSAA playoffs.
No. 20 Franklin Parish (14-14, 5-3 in 2-4A) is paired against No. 13 Cabrini High School – an all-female Catholic school out of Metairie.
Cabrini (12-10, 7-1 in 10-4A) won their district championship for the fourth consecutive season in 2012. The Crescents advanced to the state semi-finals last year.
