After an impressive start to the season, Franklin Academy now faces a must-win situation after dropping two games last week.

The Cougars fell to Glenbrook 9-3 and was shut out by Riverfield's Corbin Cater 2-0.

Brady Moroni had 10 walks at Glenbrook.

"The plate was a keyhole," said Franklin coach Chris Sullivan.

The Cougars outhit the Chiefs 9-3.

Franklin Academy hosts Glenbrook Friday with a playoff spot on the line.
Cater, who signed with Hinds Community College, avenged an earlier loss to the Cougars, holding Franklin Academy to three hits.

"I have to give a lot of credit to their pitcher, he did a great job," Sullivan said. "Jesse Vinson did a good job on the mound for us."
