Parish officials sign emergency operations plan
Franklin Parish officials gathered on Monday to sign into place a plan that establishes a comprehensive guideline on how parish authorities would respond in the event of a disaster in the area.
The Franklin Parish Emergency Operations Plan (EOP), which was voted on and passed by the Police Jury earlier this year, provides an overview of what actions would occur in response to hazards of all sorts—weather-related disasters, as well as nuclear, biological and radiological hazards.
