FMC nurses trauma ready In its latest effort to provide the most up-to-date and quality training of its employees, the Franklin Medical Center certified a number of its nurses last week in providing the initial, essential treatment required in a trauma situations.
The Franklin Medical Center board of commissioners recognized the employees who underwent the certification during its regular meeting. Deborah Spann of the Louisiana Emergency Response Network instructed the Trauma Nurse Core Course—a 16-hour course developed by the Emergency Nurses Association which focuses on what to do when a patient arrives in the emergency room.
