Miss Magnolia crowned
Jasmine Brown was crowned Miss Magnolia 2012 on Saturday, Jan. 28 at The Priness Theatre in historic downtown Winnsboro. Participants range in age from one to 18 years of age. This is the second year the pageant has been staged to highlight exceptional young ladies in the community.
Jasmine is the daughter of Kelly Brown and the granddaughter of Shirley Brown. She attends Franklin Parish High School and is also a member of Second Baptist Church, where she actively participates in the youth department and youth choir. She is also a member of the City Wide Youth Ministry. Jasmine loves God and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
