Mangham powerlifters set benchmark
Powerlifting teams from Mangham High School attended the Division II State Powerlifting Championships at Pope John Paul II High School in Slidell on March 24th.
Every Mangham lifter placed and earned points for their team. Winning individual state championships were Jalen Henderson, Chris Hardman, Gionny Taylor, Meagan Duchesne and Ashley Ausberry.
State runners-up were Trey Monnin, Kayla Thomas, Savannah Evans, Keke Holmes, Morgan Duchesne and Madison Crawford. Cadell Keys, Greg Henderson and Tyler Thomason finished third in their divisions.
