Family, friends welcome soldier home
SSG. Dexter Tyrone Eaton was welcomed home on Jan. 21, 2012, with a dinner by friends and family at the home of his brother and sister-in-law Morris and Joe Ann Eaton. SSG. Eaton is the son of the late Madison Sr. and Cassie Lee Eaton. He is the youngest child of 11 kids, seven brothers and three sisters.
SSG. Eaton served in Bosnia (1999), Iraq (2003 and 2005) Afghanistan (2008 & 2011), and Korea (2002). He was awarded the Bronze Star, Arcom's (5), A-AM's (8), Antitemoist Ribbon, Global War on Anti-Terroist, Combat Action Badge, Overseas Ribbon (6), and a lifetime member of the Spurs 1st Cavalry.
