Dinner theater a smashing success
When a big city journalist on a quest to find a Pulitzer-nominated writer hits a pothole in a small town, a series of events is set in motion that only a cast of Princess Players could bring such hilarity to. The annual Dinner Theatre production, "You Can't Get There From Here," capped a five-day run with a matinee on Sunday, and for those of you who missed it, you missed a real treat.
The play, written by Pat Cook, gathers a cast of kooky characters on a backdrop prime for comedic happenstance. Nelda Emfinger's portrayal of "Liz" was one of the most memorable performances of the night. Her humorous, deadpan delivery made every line a delightful surprise.
