The United States government honored Eldon Brown of Wisner, La.,, Thursday night, March 15.

Congressman Rodney Alexander presented retired Private First Class Eldon Brown with five medals from World War II, earned, but never received. Congressman Alexander told Brown that the government and all of us appreciated his efforts and sacrifice. Brown was presented with the following medals for his service to the military: Good Conduct : Efficiency, Honor, Fidelity, Victory, World War II, European, African, Middle Eastern Campaign, Rifle and a lapel button for Honorable Service
