Electronic record policy adopted
Amidst the avalanche of federal regulations that have threatened to bury healthcare providers over the last four years, none have had the immediate impact like those regulating the adoption of electronic health records and the elimination of paper charts. This massive shift in operations has now come to fruition at Franklin Medical Center.
As of Tuesday, FMC now uses electronic tracking of all medicines provided to patients, as well as full computerized physician order entry (CPOE) for patient care.
