Renner, Carroll take TOCC 'Hully Gully'
Twin Oaks Country Club kicked off its golf season on Saturday with a 27-hole "Hully Gully" tournament.
The two-man team tournament consisted of nine holes of scramble format, then nine of best-ball format and finally a challenging alternating-shot format to finish up the day.
The tandem of Darcy Renner and Michael Carroll rolled over the competition, posting a net score of nine-under-par to win the Championship Flight. Bryan Morgan and Steve Lowe were the closest to the leaders, finishing at two-over-par for the tournament. The team of Glenn Jones and Darold Parker finished third in the Championship Flight with a score of four-over-par.
