Candlelight service held for Fortenberry

A candlelight memorial service for Colby Joe Fortenberry was held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Civitan Park in Winnsboro. Nearly 200 friends and family attended the service to remember the 22-year-old whose life ended on Saturday, March 3.

"We didn't have a chance to say goodbye," said Alisha Morgan, an organizer of the service. "This was our way of saying goodbye to Colby and to offer our support to his family. He was like a brother to me."
