Fort students celebrate reading with Dr. Seuss Fort Necessity elementary students celebrated literacy and reading for Dr. Seuss' birthday as the Family Career and Community Leaders of America helped spread the word through the National Education Association's Read Across America project.
Pre-K, kindergarteners, first and second graders were treated to a fun-filled day of Dr. Seuss activities. Students enjoyed birthday cupcakes, games, prizes and story time with several local community leaders. Students colored their own Cat in the Hat paper hats to wear for the party.
