UPDATE: Authorities pursuing person-of-interest in Tensas homicide investigation

Louisiana State Police, Tensas Parish Sheriff's Office and Franklin Parish Sheriff's Office are actively pursuing a person-of-interest in the weekend murder of a Tensas Parish bartender.

Lt. Julie Lewis of LSP Troop F said authorities are searching for Joshua Lee Temple, 28-year-old-white male from Winnsboro as . He is described as 6 feet tall, weighs 280 pounds, has blue eyes, possibly a shaved head and may have some facial hair.

He is currently being pursued on foot, in a wooded area near the Winnsboro WalMart. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.

If anyone should have any information regarding Temple's location, they are asked to contact the Franklin Parish Sheriff's Office at 318-435-4505 immediately.
