Winnsboro growers place in state corn yield contest
Three Winnsboro-area growers recently placed in the 2011 National Corn Growers' Association's (NCGA) Corn Yield Contest in Louisana.
Randy Moroni of Winnsboro won second place in the Irrigated division with Pioneer® brand hybrid P1615HR, which yielded 262 bushels per acre.
Ted Miller was named Master Forage Producer by the Louisiana Forage and Grassland Council on Dec. 2, 2011.
