A Franklin Parish native serving in the U.S. Army recently added a promotion to his already stellar list of accomplishments.

Chief Warrant Officer Jimmy R. Plater, Sr. was promoted in rank to CW4 earlier this month at a ceremony at Ft. Bragg.
