Weems benefit planned in Waverly
A benefit sponsored by the Christian Motorcycle Association is planned for Mike "Spot" Weems of Crowville on March 3.
A poker run, starting and ending at Gannaways, will begin at 10 a.m., with a fee of $20 for single bikes and $10 per rider. Tickets for barbecue chicken plates are $7 each. Plates can be picked up at Gannaways in Waverly or O'Reilly's in Winnsboro after 1 p.m.
