Shaun Thornhill, 42, of Mangham, was last seen in St. Francisville on Monday, Jan 23, 2012. His white, GMC pickup was found on Kingston Road in Adams County, south of Natchez, Miss.

The truck has a "798" sticker on the front — which represents Thornhill's local pipe fitters' union. He has a tattoo on his right upper arm, a sun with numbers 798 in the middle and a scar above his left eye. He is 5'10" tall and weighs 180, black hair and blue eyes.

A search for Thornhill began Friday morning in Adams County, supported by Air Evac, but the search was called off at 11:30 a.m. while deputies and searchers waited for creek levels to drop, according to a report.

Thornhill's family reportedly did not know why he was in Adams County, but could have been looking for work on a tugboat.
If you have seen this person, please contact the Adams County Sheriff's Office at 601-442-2752, Christel Wyant 318-341-1158 or Mendy Roberts at 318-614-2394.
