Northeast Louisiana residents joined Operation Christmas Child, the world's largest Christmas project of its kind, to pack 15,324 shoe boxes with toys, school supplies and necessity items this year. Texas and Louisiana combined packed 456,180 total boxes for the region.

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to needy children around the world.
