Opry opens new year with big show
The Franklin Opry will start its seventh year at the Princess Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m., with special guest Chad Tingle, a country gospel singer from Northwest La.
The family-friendly country music show is hosted by the popular Gene King Band.
"We're really excited to have this young man perform at the Opry this month," said King, leader of the Gene King Band. "He's a dynamic young performer who will perform songs from his newly released album."
