CENLA hands FA first district loss

Franklin Academy knew it would take its best effort to come away victorious in Pineville last Friday against CENLA Academy. Unfortunately for the Cougars, the free-throw line prevented that from happening.

Cougars coach Paul Work knew coming into the contest that CENLA was going to force the Cougars to beat them at the charity strike, but even after days of preparation Franklin couldn't sink the buckets when they counted.

In the 81-64 loss to CENLA, the Cougars made only 18-of-36 tries from the free-throw-line. The 18 misses did not sit well with Work, who said that should never happen.
