Wossman edges Patriots, 49-47
The Franklin Parish Patriots gave a valiant effort against Wossman last Friday, only to fall just short to their district-foe, 49-47, at Patriot Gym.
Wossman's edge in the rebounding department would turn out to be the ultimate decider of a scrappy defensive battle.
"We played aggressive on defense, but I thought they (Wossman) where able to get a lot of second opportunities because of our rebounding troubles," Patriots coach Blake Wheeler said. "They (Wossman) are a very athletic team and their man-to-man defense was giving us problems."
