Pylant ready for House post
Based firmly on ideals of fiscal conservatism, Steve Pylant ran a successful campaign which secured him the District 20 seat in the state House in the October primaries. Prior to that, Pylant had served as
sheriff of Franklin Parish for four terms.
Now just days from officially taking office at the state capitol, Pylant hopes to initiate the same brand of financial responsibility in Baton Rouge that he practiced as sheriff of Franklin Parish.
