Thanksgiving blessings shared with community
Mayor Jackie Johnson with the help of city officials and business leaders, held the Second Annual "Let No One Go Hungry," program on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
This program began last year by Johnson as an effort to ensure everyone had a hot meal during Thanksgiving. Fresh Start Ministries joined this collaborative effort last year and has been instrumental in helping the Johnson continue the mission. More than 200 local residents were provided hot meals and greeted by the mayor and local business leaders.
