Honors roll in for Dragons
Mangham head coach Tommy Tharp was named District 3-1A Coach of the Year, while Dragon senior running back Shaquille Ausberry was named Offensive Player of the Year and junior defensive lineman Johnathan Staten was named co-MVP on defense along with Quinton Washington of Delhi.
Mangham advanced to the Class 1A semifinals unbeaten before falling to Ouachita Christian.
Joining Ausberry on the all-district team are Mangham senior quarterback Seth Parker, Dragon senior offensive lineman Jalen Henderson, Mangham junior tight end Dillon Santiago, and senior athlete Areaus Nichols on offense.
