Elvis had a "Blue Christmas," Bing Crosby dreamed of a "White Christmas," and it looks as if this year, I'll be having a "Blonde Christmas."

It all began last Friday night. I was in my humble Ruston abode about to embark on a little Christmas tradition of my own. You see, every year during the first weekend of December, my Christmas tree goes up.

To get in the Christmas spirit, I always turn up the Christmas music and put on my "cool" Christmas penguin PJ's and begin going through the Rubbermaid boxes of Christmas décor. Now this tree is not a simple tree to put up by no means.

The ginormous eight foot, put together one branch at a time,….ahem, "Christmas Tree" was a hand-me-down from my mother years ago.
