WHS alumna receives doctorate
Betty (Mathis) Hearns, Winnsboro High School graduate, class of 1982 has earned a Doctorate of Management Degree in Organizational Leadership.
She is a visionary leader and community college teacher with an insightful awareness of what people need to succeed and how she can empower them for success.
She is the daughter of Mr. Eugene and Bessie Mathis of Winnsboro.
Dr. Hearns credits the strong community and spiritual influences that surrounded her while growing up for the bold determination to be successful and succeed in academics.
