Woman dies after traffic accident
A Winnsboro woman died Friday morning in a two-vehicle accident in Franklin Parish, according to Louisiana State Police.
The Franklin Parish Sheriff's Department responded to a crash one mile south of Crowville on Hwy. 17 around 10:35 a.m.
The investigation, which was conducted by Troop F of the Louisiana State Police, stated the driver of a 2011 Toyota Camry was traveling south on Hwy. 17 when for unknown reasons, crossed the center line and side-swiped a 2008 Chevrolet truck pulling a utility trailer traveling northbound.
