With a campaign focused on experience and proven hard-line prosecution, Mack Lancaster overwhelmingly secured his victory in the October elections. Now officially sworn in as the elected district attorney of the Fifth Judicial District, Lancaster says he is confident the proof will be in the pudding.

While praising the district's already stellar conviction rate, Lancaster vows a continued emphasis on the prosecution of violent criminals as well as a proactive approach to the growing area problem of thefts and burglaries.

"There are certainly more burglaries occurring and we plan to continue our work with the Sheriff's Office and utilizing our resources to fight this trend," Lancaster said. "This, along with forgeries and drug arrests will, continue to be some of our many focal points."
