Annual Cotton Classic held this past week
Franklin Academy's varsity boys defeated Tensas Academy twice in the Cotton Classic last week.
In their first meeting, Franklin defeated Tensas 67-36.
Franklin led 12-5 after one period and 35-15 at halftime.
Cedric Allen led the Chiefs with 15 points, while John Ross Newman added nine and Kalin Howington, eight.
Franklin outscored Tensas 15-6 in the final quarter on Thursday for a 54-39 win.
