There was a time when we could pray in our public schools to God in the name of His Son Jesus and the only response from others would be an "Amen."

There was a time when the phrase "In God We Trust" was the norm and its use was not questioned.

There was a time when the decorations for Christmas were not put on display until after Thanksgiving had passed.

There was a time when more thought went into getting the family together for Thanksgiving than getting to the stores for the "big" sales the day after (and now the day of) Thanksgiving.
