With the re-election of Buddy Parks and Leroy Scott, the Franklin Parish Police Jury will look the same as it did before the election cycle began.

Parks, of District 2, defeated Republican Adam Faulk by receiving about 62 percent of the ballot, or 436 votes, in Saturday's run-off election.

Parks, who ran with no party affiliation, got about 43 percent of the ballot, or 449 votes, in a three-way race in the Oct. 22 primary election.

Parks said that taking his message to voters helped him win re-election.
