Fort School pays tribute to veterans

A special Veterans Day program was held Thursday at Fort Necessity School.

Principal Chris Roberts welcomed guests to the morning tribute to the men and women who have served in the nation's armed forces.

Arthur Grant, U.S. Air Force (retired) lead the invocation.

The Franklin Parish High School Army JROTC Honor Guard presented colors and the American Flag. Ray Bryan, U.S. Air Force (retired) lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

Terri Pace, accompanied by Keith Rollins sang the "Star Spangled Banner."
Pre-kindergarteners also sang ballads of honor including "We Love the USA" and "Three Cheers for the Red, White, and Blue."
