Winnsboro man wins MMA title
For LaJerrick Taylor, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighting started as a way to cope with the loss of his grandmother and made him a champion.
Taylor, a 24 year-old Winnsboro native, won the MMA Light-Heavy Weight Title Belt at Pain on the Cane, Saturday night in Natchitoches.
He grabbed the title by dominating former champion Tommie Britton in a three-round match.
