One of the most important priorities of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution organization is to pass the 'spirit of patriotism' on to succeeding generations.

With that in mind, on Wednesday, Nov. 9, members of Oakley Chapter DAR teamed up with Instructors Vanessa Jones and Becky Nichols' third grade classes at Family Community Christian School in presenting an inspirational program honoring the veterans at Plantation Manor Nursing Center.
