The Wellspring to host chili cook-off
At this year's Wellspring Share the Spirit holiday program and tree lighting Nov. 29, organizers doing something new – a chili cook off with you as the judge!
The competitors are Franklin Parish Sheriff's Department, Winnsboro Police Department, Winnsboro Fire Department, Northeast Louisiana Ambulance Service, and Gene Boquet.
Tasting is free, but guests are asked to "vote" to indicate their choice for tastiest with a monetary donation. The winner will be the group raising the most donations. (All donations will go to assist homeless Franklin Parish families – more info below)
